Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fort Pierce, FL

Step into a rewarding SLP contract role supporting students across K-8 grades in a dynamic school environment near Fort Pierce and Port Saint Lucie, FL. We are seeking up to four Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services, with both part-time (14-21 hrs/week) and full-time (35 hrs/week) options available. Roles may be combined for those seeking full schedules, and assignments range from elementary to middle school settings, each offering unique experiences and team structures.

You’ll work with diverse caseloads—some schools featuring a supportive SLP team and others giving you the independence to make a big impact as the sole SLP. Assignments are available at Tradition Lakes (4th-8th), Manatee K-8 (K-8), C.A. Moore K-8 (PK-8th grade), and White City Elementary (elementary, no Pre-K), with most schools scheduled over 2-3 days each week and manageable caseloads.

What you bring:

• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
• School-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including fingerprinting (prior clearance in the AHCA clearinghouse can expedite the process)
• Flexibility to provide on-site services and pick up school badge prior to start
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or in collaboration with an existing SLP team

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language therapy to students aged PK through middle school
• Conducting assessments, managing paperwork, IEPs, and data collection as required
• Collaborating with educators and administrators to support student progress
• Engaging in school-based team meetings and ongoing professional development
