Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred, but strong healthcare/pediatric backgrounds welcome
  • Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities & Key Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement effective, individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for maximum impact
  • Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and empower families and staff regarding speech and language strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
  • Support and mentorship available for candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year
