Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred, but strong healthcare/pediatric backgrounds welcome
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities & Key Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct intervention for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement effective, individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for maximum impact
- Contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and empower families and staff regarding speech and language strategies
- Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
- Support and mentorship available for candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year
