Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state license for Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities through a variety of methods and tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy plans in collaboration with teachers and other staff
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and/or small group settings
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Consult with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development
  • Participate in school meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and professional development activities as required
