As an SLP in a school setting, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to design and deliver tailored interventions. Your expertise will play an essential role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders within the student population.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Indiana SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
  • Previous experience in K-12 school environments is desirable
  • Strong communication, organization, and team-collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services to students across various grade levels
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to monitor progress and update goals
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state policies
  • Participate in team meetings, eligibility conferences, and consultative services
