Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication, cultural competency, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted speech-language services to a Spanish-speaking student in accordance with their IEP or service plan
  • Collaborate with educators, family members, and a multi-disciplinary committee to determine goals, hours, and service delivery models
  • Participate in meetings to assess needs, share progress, and adjust plans as necessary
  • Document services, updates, and progress following school guidelines
  • Provide resources and support to faculty and family when appropriate
