Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license for the state of Texas
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaking abilities are highly valued
  • Ability to complete or verify fingerprinting through the Texas Education Agency (please allow up to 10 business days for results)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and case management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy to students K-12, helping them develop vital speech and language skills
  • Case manage assigned school campuses, ensuring compliance and effective communication with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), guiding their clinical work and fostering professional growth
  • Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation, IEPs, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and family members to support student success
  • Adapt interventions to meet the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of students
