Step into a vital role supporting student communication and academic success in a dynamic school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple Speech-Language Pathologists are needed for a contract opportunity offering flexible scheduling—ranging from part-time to full-time—to best fit both your availability and the evolving needs of the district.

Your expertise with school-based populations and your knowledge of speech and language disorders will be valued within a welcoming educational environment. Caseload assignments will take your prior experience and the district’s student needs into account, ensuring your skills are matched to the right setting. Opportunities for pre- and post-planning days create a structured yet adaptable work experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Georgia SLP License and GaPSC Educator Certification required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY) will also be considered
  • Experience in K-12 school settings or similar preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to providing onsite, in-person therapy (teletherapy candidates are not eligible)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and implement individualized treatment for speech and language disorders for students
  • Develop and track IEP goals with multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
  • Maintain accurate records and compliance with school and state requirements
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices

This position offers a flexible weekly schedule (up to 37.5 hours) in a supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions make a real impact. Interviews are anticipated to begin this summer as school-year budgeting is finalized.
