Step into a rewarding opportunity in the Colorado Springs area for the 2026-27 school year, providing vital speech and language services to students across mostly elementary caseloads. Four full-time positions are available for professionals ready to work in a contract-to-hire capacity and make a measurable difference from August 3rd onward. The primary focus will be on serving students at the elementary level, with a manageable caseload of around 50. Openings at other grade levels may also become available, and there’s potential for future roles supporting SLPAs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license (or eligibility) for Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience in school-based settings or working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students effectively
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students, with potential openings for additional grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Conduct evaluations, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
- Serve as a key resource for best speech-language practices in the school community
