Speech Language Pathologist in Fountain, CO

This contract role near Fountain, CO offers you the chance to positively impact a diverse caseload with a variety of communication needs.

In this position, you’ll work directly with students experiencing a range of severity levels, from mild to severe, across areas such as articulation, receptive and expressive language, fluency, social-pragmatic skills, and those utilizing AAC high-tech devices. You’ll collaborate with supportive staff and families, contributing your expertise in an engaging educational environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Background working with elementary-aged children and a wide range of student needs
• Knowledge of high-tech AAC devices is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech and language needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Facilitate group and individual sessions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
