Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Demonstrated experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently and adapt to a diverse range of student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Deliver effective therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and prepare necessary reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success in speech and language
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in school and pediatric SLP services
