Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Demonstrated experience working with pediatric and school-age populations
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and students
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and adapt to a diverse range of student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver effective therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and prepare necessary reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success in speech and language
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education in school and pediatric SLP services
