Key Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license or eligibility
- Experience in school-based or pediatric speech therapy preferred
- Understanding of CCC, CFY, and healthcare SLP standards beneficial
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, educators, and families
- Passion for supporting children in a diverse, inclusive educational environment
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-age students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed SLP
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals and progress
- Document session notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with school procedures
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development opportunities
- Follow all district, state, and federal policies and guidelines related to special education services
