Certified Elementary Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Fountain, CO

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment serving elementary and middle school students as a certified Speech-Language Pathologist in a welcoming educational environment near Fountain, CO. This role begins as soon as possible and follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:15 am to 3:15 pm, totaling 37.5 hours per week. Engage with students from kindergarten through 8th grade, providing assessment, intervention, and support that fosters communication and academic success.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Active state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP or CFY welcome)
• Demonstrated experience in school-based settings, particularly with K-8 caseloads
• Strong knowledge of student assessment, IEP development, and intervention planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and students
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and positive environment for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for K-8 students
• Develop individualized education programs and deliver direct, evidence-based therapy
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student progress
• Maintain timely documentation and contribute to student meetings and evaluations
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development activities
