Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid license to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
- Previous experience in K-12 school environments highly desirable
- Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to design and implement intervention strategies
- Develop treatment plans and document service delivery and student progress
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing observations and data-driven recommendations
- Engage with families to provide updates, resources, and strategies for reinforcement at home
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as school policies
- Adapt services based on student needs, including both individual and group therapy
