Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid license to practice as an SLP in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Previous experience in K-12 school environments highly desirable
  • Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver speech-language therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and support staff to design and implement intervention strategies
  • Develop treatment plans and document service delivery and student progress
  • Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, sharing observations and data-driven recommendations
  • Engage with families to provide updates, resources, and strategies for reinforcement at home
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as school policies
  • Adapt services based on student needs, including both individual and group therapy
