What You’ll Need:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology state license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, held for at least one year
- At least one year of school-based IEP experience
- Strong communication skills—able to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Motivation to make a positive difference for students
- Excellent organization, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfort with technology: digital paperwork, online communication, and a willingness to learn new platforms
Your Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students across various ages and needs
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation, ensuring compliance with school and state requirements
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff, supporting students’ success in educational environments
