Step into an impactful role supporting students' communication and learning needs in a dynamic educational setting. This contract opportunity will place you onsite, working alongside dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality speech-language evaluation services to a diverse caseload.

In this position, you'll concentrate predominantly on evaluations, ensuring students receive the precise supports necessary for their growth. You'll also collaborate closely with another speech-language pathologist, especially in providing services for nonverbal life skills students. Your expertise will help shape individualized educational plans and promote optimal student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for approximately 50–70 students
  • Work hand-in-hand with other SLP staff, sharing expertise and insights
  • Deliver focused support for nonverbal life skills students, partnering with another experienced SLP
  • Document assessments, progress, and recommendations in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff to drive student success

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Minimum of a master's degree in speech-language pathology
  • Experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
  • Strong background in evaluations and team collaboration
