Both SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply, and teletherapy experience is highly valued.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows welcome
- Previous experience in school environments or pediatric populations
- Comfortable providing services in both in-person and teletherapy formats
- Skillful with assessment, treatment plans, IEP development, and progress monitoring
- Clear, compassionate communicator with students, families, and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication interventions to K-12 students based on individual needs
- Screen, evaluate, and diagnose communication disorders
- Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the school team
- Deliver therapy sessions—both on site and virtually, as required
- Maintain accurate records, document student progress, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and training to educators and families to support students’ communication skills
- Adapt therapy strategies to ensure access and engagement for diverse learners
