Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure consistent support
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to school and district requirements
- Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student planning
