Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Franklin, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
• Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapeutic strategies
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure consistent support
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes according to school and district requirements
• Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in student planning
