Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA certificate of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
  • Valid or eligible state licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Tennessee
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not required
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services aligned with student goals
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote successful student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation according to district and legal guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
