Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA certificate of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Valid or eligible state licensure to practice as an SLP in the state of Tennessee
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not required
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services aligned with student goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote successful student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation according to district and legal guidelines
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
