A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within educational settings. This role involves working collaboratively with students to assess, plan, and implement effective speech and language therapy services, fostering communication development and overcoming barriers to learning.
Location: Franklin, TN (with travel requirements to various school sites as needed)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Manage travel to multiple school locations within the region as required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP.
- Experience working with school-age children in educational settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel between school sites reliably.
