Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students to determine speech and language needs using standardized assessments
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of progress and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students’ communication abilities
- Educate classroom staff and families on speech and language strategies
