What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech-language assessment and therapy techniques
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize responsibilities with adaptability and care

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy to elementary students in individual and group settings
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
  • Document progress and maintain required records according to school and state guidelines
  • Support inclusive education by sharing strategies and training with classroom teams
