Speech Language Pathologist in Franklinton, NC

Key Qualifications:

• Hold a current, active North Carolina SLP license
• Possess Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Demonstrate proven experience working within school settings
• Skilled in employing assistive listening technology to maximize student access and participation
• Ability to adapt caseload management depending on prior experience
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit

Position Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate consistent and effective communication strategies across settings
• Utilize assistive listening and augmentative devices to support inclusion and student success
• Maintain timely and accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and Medicaid documentation as required
• Adapt therapy materials and approaches to a diverse student population
• Provide consultation and training regarding assistive technology and communication strategies to school personnel
