Desired Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with assistive listening technology
  • Willingness and eligibility to supervise an SLPA if needed
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Flexibility with caseload assignments as determined by school leadership

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, school staff, and families to support student goals
  • Provide direct and consultative services as outlined in IEPs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Supervise and mentor an SLPA (if applicable), ensuring fidelity of service delivery
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
