School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Franklinville, New York

This full-time, contract position extends across the entire school year and offers the unique chance to work with diverse caseloads while receiving onsite support from a dedicated Teaching Assistant.

In this role, your expertise will empower students to achieve their full potential in communication and language skills. You will engage with a range of ages and abilities, ensuring each student’s progress is nurtured in a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for student development
• Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ needs and IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services and document progress
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and administrators to support student success
• Communicate regularly with families to share progress and strategies for at-home support
• Utilize onsite Teaching Assistant support to enhance therapy session effectiveness
