What you’ll bring:
- Current, valid SLP license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous supervisory experience or a passion for mentoring SLPAs strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of school-based speech and language services
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to provide support, feedback, and documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Commitment to professional ethics and ongoing learning in the field
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise an assigned SLPA onsite, providing guidance and oversight in individual and group sessions
- Review, monitor, and sign off on all SLPA documentation including session notes, service logs, and intervention plans
- Ensure adherence to best practices and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for school-based services
- Provide constructive feedback, professional development, and support in daily activities and growth as a practitioner
- Collaborate with school staff and other related service providers to optimize student outcomes
