Step into a dynamic school-based Speech-Language Pathologist role serving multiple elementary sites near Frederick, MD. This full-time contract opportunity runs from October 1 through June 4, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on students’ communication success throughout the academic year.

Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., you’ll provide services for a caseload of 35-45 elementary students, collaborating closely with educators and support teams. Key Qualifications:

  • Current Maryland SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience in a school setting with elementary populations preferred
  • Strong collaborative, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based therapy practices and student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with speech-language needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Work with teachers, families, and IEP teams to support student development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and strategies
