Seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for rewarding contract opportunities supporting students in a vibrant educational setting near Fredericksburg, VA. Multiple full-time positions are available for dedicated professionals, including those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and Clinical Fellows (CFs) who are eager to develop their expertise in a supportive environment. Each assignment offers a consistent 37.5-hour work week.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CF candidates are welcomed
- Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Confidence working with a diverse K-12 student population; open to discussing specific age group or caseload preferences
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans suited to each student’s abilities and needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student success
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Deliver services in both individual and small-group settings
- Stay informed of best practices and participate in professional development as needed
