Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (Virginia preferred)
  • SLP-CCC or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFs welcomed)
  • Proven experience—or strong interest—in working with K-12 students
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Solid communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality speech and language assessments, therapy, and consultations for children across elementary, middle, and high school grades
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Collaborate with other professionals, teachers, and families to maximize student success
  • Tailor services to student needs, adjusting methods based on caseload and student age preferences
