This full-time position begins August 3, 2026, and runs through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to work on-site across multiple educational levels—elementary, middle, or high school. You’ll collaborate with an experienced educational team to support students’ communication and language development, making a real impact throughout the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Virginia SLP licensure required
  • Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, with comfort serving diverse age groups and needs
  • Ability to begin the VA Department of Social Services check and TB test promptly
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability to support students from various backgrounds and developmental stages

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to students
  • Manage a full-time caseload, with assignments and age groups based on district needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and administrators
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for service delivery and compliance
  • Participate in professional development and school-based meetings
