School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Fredericksburg, Virginia

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists in the Washington DC area, approximately 45 minutes south of DC. This position begins on August 3, 2026, and continues through May 27, 2027, aligning with the academic school year calendar for a 185-day assignment. Full-time SLPs work onsite (no hybrid or virtual options), supporting students across a range of grade levels—elementary, middle, and high school. Specific campus assignments will be determined prior to the start date based on need and candidate expertise.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Virginia SLP License (required)
• Prior experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload with students of varied ages and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Completion (or immediate initiation) of the Virginia Department of Social Services check
• Willingness to provide TB test documentation as mandated by state regulations
