Desired Qualifications:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure required
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred, with comfort serving diverse age groups and needs
- Ability to begin the VA Department of Social Services check and TB test promptly
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Adaptability to support students from various backgrounds and developmental stages
Responsibilities:
- Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech and language services to students
- Manage a full-time caseload, with assignments and age groups based on district needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and administrators
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for service delivery and compliance
- Participate in professional development and school-based meetings
