This full-time, contract opportunity runs from August 3, 2026, through May 26, 2027, and offers a 3/2 split schedule—three days onsite and two days remote each week—creating a balanced, flexible work experience. You'll engage with students across various age groups, adapting to evolving caseloads as assignments may vary during the school year.

Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license for Virginia
  • Prior experience in schools or with school-aged children preferred
  • Familiarity with both in-person and virtual therapy delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to complete credentialing requirements, including a VA Department of Social Services check and TB test
  • Comfortable using digital platforms for remote services, meetings, and documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and fellow therapists to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver services in-person three days a week; provide virtual therapy and attend meetings remotely two days a week
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
  • Adjust strategies to meet diverse student needs in a hybrid environment
  • Stay current with best practices and school district guidelines
