You will serve two schools, providing essential services during two overlapping maternity leaves—one from late December/early January through early March, and another from mid-November extending to the end of March (spring break). There is flexibility for candidates with preferred age ranges or caseloads; simply let us know your interests.
Your background should include:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFs welcome)
- School-based SLP experience, or a strong practicum background in educational settings
- Confidence managing K-12 caseloads, with willingness to coordinate across multiple schools
- Proficiency conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, writing reports, and collaborating within an educational team
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and adaptability
Core responsibilities include:
- Providing direct and consultative speech-language services to a diverse population of students
- Conducting evaluations and writing comprehensive reports
- Developing and implementing effective treatment and intervention plans
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining thorough, timely documentation for student progress and compliance
