School Speech Language Pathologist - Fredericksburg, VA

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure for SLP; CCC certification preferred but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience or strong interest in school-based speech and language services
• Ability to manage diverse caseloads, adapting to varying grade levels and student needs
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with IEP documentation and progress reporting requirements

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students in individual and group settings across K-12
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Complete thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
• Provide coverage for two overlapping maternity leaves between November and March, with the primary window being late fall through early spring
• Adapt your approach to meet the needs of the assigned students and classrooms, communicating your caseload preferences as needed
