Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Fredericksburg, VA

This contract position is set for a part-time schedule (18.75 hours per week) and will run through the academic year, offering a consistent yet flexible experience for an SLP looking to focus on one dedicated elementary school site. As part of your vital work, you’ll empower students to find their voice and navigate their educational journeys confidently.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license
• Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, ideally in elementary
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently and compassionately

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for elementary-aged students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct therapy and intervention, both individually and in group settings
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and collaborate regularly with school staff and parents
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and other school-based team activities

Additional Requirements:

• Completion of a current TB test as required by the district
• Successful background check conducted on-site with district HR
