This role covers the full academic school year, allowing you to help K-12 learners build essential communication skills and achieve academic success. Scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, you’ll maintain a meaningful work-life balance while supporting a diverse student population.
You’ll conduct 40 individualized sessions per week, each lasting 30 minutes, providing direct intervention and collaborating closely with educators and parents. This is the perfect fit for someone eager to foster student growth over the long term and work in an enriching educational environment.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing evidence-based services and supporting IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech-language therapy for students ranging from kindergarten to high school seniors
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation, session notes, and progress reports in compliance with school standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Engage with parents, teachers, and staff to promote consistent progress
