We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential services to elementary resource students with articulation and language needs. This full-time contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through June 2027, offering a stable and rewarding role.
Your workday runs Monday through Friday, 8:25 am to 3:05 pm, allowing you to maintain a consistent weekday schedule. You’ll collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement tailored treatment plans while helping students build confidence in their communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered
- Experience or strong interest in working with school-age children, especially in resource settings
- Knowledge of articulation and language disorders and relevant intervention strategies
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Deliver direct therapy in articulation and language to elementary resource students
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor and document student progress
- Maintain accurate records and provide updates per district and regulatory requirements
- Provide consultative services and recommendations for classroom accommodations
