Looking for a fulfilling contract opportunity in a supportive school environment? A dynamic opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist is available, beginning August 24th, working with students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. This on-site role offers the chance to make a significant impact with a manageable caseload of 8-10 students at a respected educational setting near Freeport, ME.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure in Maine (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) accepted
  • School-based SLP experience preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to Kindergarten-6th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and student IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, services provided, and communication with families and staff
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to facilitate student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and services
  • Deliver engaging, interactive therapy sessions tailored to individual needs
