This full-time, contracted opportunity—four days per week—focuses on supporting a primarily 9th-grade caseload of 35-45 students in a dynamic and collaborative educational setting. Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech Language Pathology license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in school settings, preferably at the secondary level, is strongly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, staff, and families
- Ability to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and document progress effectively
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer assessments to identify students’ speech and language requirements
- Develop and execute individualized therapy plans aligning with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress
- Provide both direct and consultative services, primarily focused on 9th-grade students
- Maintain organized records and effectively communicate progress to families and the multidisciplinary team
