Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent field
- Possesses active SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Previous experience working in a school environment or with school-aged children preferred
- Familiarity with IEP (Individualized Education Program) process and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Current licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Document ongoing progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district standards
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Provide guidance and resource information to families and educators
