Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school settings is highly valued
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric communication disorders
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals based on assessment data
- Provide direct therapy in group or one-on-one settings as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate communication goals into the classroom environment
- Maintain timely, accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative team planning
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based strategies in speech-language pathology
