Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate state credential
  • Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, families, and educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, interpret results, and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to support effective communication in various settings
  • Monitor and report on student progress, adapting interventions as needed
