Step into a dynamic contract opportunity making a difference with K-12 students as a speech-language pathologist. This school-based role runs from August 13th through June 5th, offering the chance to positively impact the communication skills and educational growth of students across one welcoming location. You'll provide direct and consultative services for a caseload of 37-41 students, collaborating closely with staff and families.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
  • Understanding of school-based service delivery and IEP processes
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide group and individual therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, consult with teachers and support classroom integration
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging therapy environment
  • Offer resources and guidance to families, encouraging carryover strategies at home
