This opportunity spans from August 13th through June 5th, providing consistency for students and a chance to see their progress firsthand.
Your schedule will be full-time at 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to focus on developing and implementing speech and language interventions that make a lasting impact in students’ lives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience with K-12 caseloads or diverse student populations is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Flexibility, creativity, and commitment to fostering student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students across grade levels
- Develop and implement targeted IEP goals and individualized intervention plans
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress within the school setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support each student’s educational journey
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Serve as a proactive resource and advocate for students’ communication needs on campus
