An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated professional with a focus on providing exceptional speech-language pathology services in an educational setting. This role is designed for an individual ready to make a meaningful impact on students' communication skills within a K-12 environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC)
- Experience working with elementary students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with various speech and language disorders
- Proficient in data collection and progress monitoring
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and maintain small caseloads to ensure personalized student support
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create and implement IEPs
- Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations as required
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
