Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the full academic year. Work three days per week (.6 FTE) with a small, manageable caseload, allowing you to dedicate focused attention to each student’s communication needs.
What we’re seeking:
- Holds SLP-CCC certification
- Experience working in elementary school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student goals
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Role responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school regulations
- Provide support and guidance to teachers regarding communication strategies in the classroom
