What we’re looking for:

  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Commitment to cultural responsiveness and inclusivity with diverse student populations
  • Willingness to supervise SLPAs if needed
  • Flexibility to adapt to various school environments and student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services for students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Evaluate, assess, and document students’ speech, language, and communication skills
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • Develop treatment plans and monitor progress towards established goals
  • Offer guidance and supervision to SLP Assistants (SLPAs) when applicable
  • Support students during ESY as well as throughout the academic year
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary teams
