School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, CA

This full-time contract position is designed for a speech-language pathologist who thrives supporting PreK-8th grade students across 2-3 nearby school sites. You’ll collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families, playing a vital role in students’ academic and social development for the 2025-2026 school year.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current and valid SLP licensure for California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
• Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Comfort working with diverse student populations across PreK through 8th grade

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of up to 55 students, ensuring inclusion and individualized support
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
• Conduct assessments and monitor progress to inform intervention plans
• Offer consultation, support, and resources to teachers and parents
• Travel between 2-3 sites within the district as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
