Step into a meaningful role supporting students’ communication development in a full-time school-based setting for the 2025-2026 academic year. This contract opportunity serves PreK-8th grade learners across 2-3 nearby sites, with a manageable caseload of up to 55 students. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will make a lasting impact on students’ academic achievement, social skills, and quality of life.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
  • Previous school-based experience strongly valued
  • Proficient evaluating, diagnosing, and treating diverse speech, language, and communication disorders in children from PreK through middle school
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Strong organizational skills for managing a multi-site caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized service plans for students with speech and language needs
  • Provide direct therapy services according to IEPs, adjusting methods to optimize student progress
  • Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and student outcomes in accordance with school and legal requirements
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Partner with educators and parents to support students’ communication in academic and social settings
  • Travel between assigned sites as needed throughout the week
