The assignment runs from August 11 to November 10 and offers a consistent, full-time schedule averaging 35 hours each week.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • Valid state licensure for SLP in California (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students, identifying areas of need and formulating individualized plans
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and student progress
  • Provide direct therapy sessions for students in individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable input for ongoing care and program development
