A school-based opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) in Fremont, CA, with three current openings. These are full-time and part-time contract positions running ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Key qualifications include:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC or SLP - CFY preferred)
- Experience working in school settings as an SLP
- Strong assessment and intervention skills for pediatric speech and language disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school and legal requirements
Additional information:
- This contract role does not involve Voice Output Communication Aids (VOCO)
- Candidates with SLPA certification may be considered starting in December
