A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year working within a K-12 educational setting in Fremont, CA. This contract position offers the chance to support a diverse student population across multiple school sites, providing critical speech and language services tailored to individual student needs.
Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and implement effective therapy plans. The role also involves ongoing progress monitoring, documentation, and participation in team meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings
- Ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites with flexible scheduling
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, generally from approximately 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM depending on site assignments
- Caseload varies and will be determined based on student needs and site locations
- Based in Fremont, CA within the school district's multiple locations
