An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide specialized services within a preschool program. This full-time, contract position runs from March 30 through June 3, offering a 30-hour workweek. The role is based in Fremont, CA, and involves managing a caseload of 14 students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy for preschool-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress and communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services, evaluations, and progress notes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of inclusive educational strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP within school or preschool settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 14 students effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with young children and multidisciplinary teams.
- Valid licensure or certification necessary to practice in the state of California.
