Your workday will run from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a total of 213 school days left in the assignment. The caseload will average 25-30 students, allowing you to focus on providing quality, individualized speech and language interventions that make a lasting difference. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working with school populations, especially K-12 students with autism
- Background in both healthcare and school-based SLP practices is highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting students’ communication needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with autism
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with families and educators
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to deliver holistic care
- Participate meaningfully in IEP meetings and ongoing staff development
