As a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) on a contract basis for the remainder of the school year, you’ll play a vital role in helping children achieve their full academic and social potential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement IEPs in alignment with state guidelines and individualized student needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers to support student progress
- Serve as a resource for staff regarding language strategies and classroom modifications
- Maintain thorough and timely records of sessions, assessments, and progress reports
- Participate in team meetings, eligibility conferences, and ongoing professional development
