Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students for the full 2026-2027 school year as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This district is excited to bring on TWO skilled SLPs with a passion for supporting student communication and language development. This full-time position runs from August 12, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with hours from 8:15 am to 3:45 pm (including a 30-minute unpaid lunch). You’ll manage a caseload of up to 55 students, providing high-quality speech and language services while actively collaborating with educational teams.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as a school SLP
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong assessments, IEP development, and progress reporting skills
- Collaborative and communicative approach with students, families, and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech and language therapy services
- Complete comprehensive assessments of students’ communication needs
- Develop, update, and implement IEPs in accordance with school policies
- Track and document student progress regularly
- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and maintain effective communication with families and colleagues
