Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active license to practice speech-language pathology in California
- Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy for students in elementary, middle, or high school as assigned
- Conduct assessments, create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate progress reports
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address a variety of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress and develop appropriate strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team processes
- Educate staff and families about speech-language development and strategies for support
