Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active license to practice speech-language pathology in California
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy for students in elementary, middle, or high school as assigned
  • Conduct assessments, create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain accurate progress reports
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to address a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to monitor student progress and develop appropriate strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other school-based team processes
  • Educate staff and families about speech-language development and strategies for support
