Desired Background and Experience:

  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience working within school settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, assessments, and treatment planning for K-12 students
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy and intervention approaches to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Document and track student progress according to district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing professional insight
  • Offer prevention, intervention, and consultative services as needed throughout the school year
